Ms. Bertha Nell Deatherage's Obituary
Ms. Bertha Nell Deatherage, age 92 of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020. She was born on July 23, 1928 in Gadsen, Tennessee to the late William and Stella Laster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Aaron M. Deatherage and her son Randy L. Deatherage. She is survived by her children Sherry Malone (Mike) Judy Dukes, Brenda Pilson (Gary), Ricky Deatherage, and Danny Deatherage (Kathy). In addition to her children, she is also survived by her six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Ms. Deatherage was a little spitfire who loved getting dressed up, getting her makeup done, and going shopping. She was loved deeply by her family and she will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, the Deatherage family has requested that donations be made to Adoration Home Health and Hospice or The Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Building Fund.

A graveside service will be held at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 12pm with Brother Ronald Lawrence of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and Brother Graham Sims of Wilson Creek Primitive Baptist Church officiating. Those who wish to attend should meet at Spring Hill Funeral Home at 11:45am to go in procession to the gravesite.
