Mrs. Beryl Univesta Reynolds Wheeler's Obituary
Beryl Univesta Reynolds Wheeler, 97 of Gallatin, TN passed away on July 23, 2015 surrounded by loved ones.
“Mama” Beryl is survived by her children: Charlene, Ricky, Judy and Kim; 8 grandchildren: Sherrie, Randy, Greg (Evie), Stephanie (John), Matthew, Justin (Jessica), Tyler and Brock; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Elton “Daddy” Wheeler and 11 of her brothers and sisters.
Beryl retired from 20+ years of service in the cafeteria from Amqui Elementary School. She was a member of Madison Church of Christ for many years followed by becoming a member at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ.
“Miss America” as known by her friends and family was the self-proclaimed #1 fan of the Atlanta Braves and the good ole Tennessee Volunteers. She loved to sing and dance so it is only fitting that we celebrate her life by singing her favorite song; “Oh Happy Day!”
The family will receive friends from 1 – 4 p.m. Sunday July 26th and from 12 – 2 p.m. Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
