Bessie Lee Gray Gotto's Obituary
Bessie Lee Gray Gotto, age 91 passed away on February 8, 2013. Bessie was recognized by all who knew her as a lively personality and an uncommonly quick wit – one who enjoyed nothing more than a good time, spent with loved ones, filled with smiles, laughter and fun. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Clarence F. Gotto and her daughter, Margaret Darlene Gotto. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (David C.) Goolsby; grandchildren, Abraham (Shannon) Goolsby, Beth (Douglas) Anacreonte, Eleanor (Jonathan) Pettit, Jared (DeShaunta) Goolsby and Jacob (Lindsay) Goolsby; and11 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until her Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Tim Alexander. Active pallbearers will include Abraham Goolsby, Jared Goolsby, Jacob Goolsby, Douglas Anacreonte, Jonathan Pettit and Clarence Napier. Ashton Goolsby, Levi Pettit and David Goolsby will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
