Ms. Betty L. Bailey's Obituary
Ms. Betty Louise Rohelier Bailey, age 88 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. She was born on June 23, 1932 in Edenwold, Tennessee to the late Edward and Elnora Rohelier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Joe Stafford and Joe Edward Rohelier. She is survived by her children Marsha Rusk, Betty Case, and Buddy Bailey, sisters Lucy Walker and Annette Roddy, grandchildren Danielle Rusk-Carter (Troy), Chandra Rusk-Agostini (Joseph), Michael Guinn (Amy), and Sherray Duke. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Aaron Guinn, Kaitlyn Trotter (Nick), Isaiah and Mira Carter, Leon Duke, Shelby Duke-Jackson, Russel Duke, and Kristen Duke, as well as 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Betty was a kind, thoughtful, and honest person. She was strong, compassionate, and loved Jesus. Although a small person, she had a good sense of humor, was very feisty, intense, and especially cute. She loved plants, and especially liked growing flowers and vegetables. She was also quite artistic and enjoyed painting and sketching. Betty particularly enjoyed the time she spent at NHC Hendersonville and all the friends she made there. Betty was well loved by many, and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2pm in the chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home with the family receiving friends an hour prior. Entombment will follow in Serenity Chapel Mausoleum within Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
