Betty Jean Batts' Obituary
Betty Jean Batts, 95, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Roy Batts, Sr. and her son, Ben “Benny” Roy Batts, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Tomlinson (Carl), a daughter-in-law, Lynda Batts, five grandchildren, Sarah Williams, Elizabeth Starkey (Ryan), Ben “Roy” Batts (Gennifer), Iva Jean Aune (Michael), and Charles Batts, twelve great-grandchildren and a sister, Cher Boyd.
Mrs. Batts was a member for over 66 years of Madison Church of Christ. She was an extensive traveler and loved to camp out in her RV. She was very involved in her community often volunteering for the Meals on Wheels organization.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 5 from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The committal service will immediately follow.
