Mrs. Betty Jean Stroud Biggerstaff's Obituary
Betty Jean Stroud Biggerstaff, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Betty was born in 1932, the third daughter of Harry and Pearl Stroud. She married Joe Biggerstaff in 1949. They had three children, Penny, Kenny and Barry. Joe and Betty were married for 63 years. She had 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Biggerstaff; sisters, Marguerite Fox, Lucy Ferrell and brother, Jack Stroud. She worked in the Metro Legal Department for 25 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress, gardener and had a special flare for decorating.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37217. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2 PM in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice in Betty's honor.
