Mrs. Betty Jo Bolling's Obituary
Betty Jo Bolling, age 79, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Louise Long; one son, Andrew Bolling Jr.; two brothers, Tony Long, Terry Long; one sister, Linda Orman. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andrew Bolling Sr.; one son, Ricky (Christy) Bolling; two daughers, Diane (Dale) Norton, Vicki (Tony) Whittemore; one brother, Donnie Long; five sisters, Shirley Cotton, Patsy (Burton) Smith, Sissy Bean, Debbie (Robert) Chatlos, Frances (Steve) Sweeney; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a host of extended family members and friends. Our mother was a pistol. She was also very loving and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a good cook and always hosted cookouts and holiday dinners. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Visitation for Betty Jo will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM, again on Friday January 18th, 2019 from 9 AM until 8 PM and again on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 from 8:30 until 11 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Jennifer Palsgrove, April Bullion, Tamika Deal, Brittany Collier, Amy Carmack, Annie Durham, Katlin McNeese, Emilie Bullion, Kaylee Bullion. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
