Ms. Betty Jean Crumble's Obituary
Betty Crumble age 82 of Nashville was born on July 19, 1932 and passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2015.
Betty was known for her generosity and her fun, playful sense of humor. She loved her dogs with a passion and treated them as honored family members. Her home was always a warm and welcoming place where everyone flocked for good times and great food. She has always been the person each of us have turned to in a time of need. Over and over again she selflessly has given her time and talents to help us all. She was the glue that held our family together and will be missed dearly.
Betty was a respected employee of the U. S. Tobacco Company where she retired after 30 plus years of service. She was a member of the Northwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lela M. Darrow and her sister Marie Crumble. She is survived by her cousins, Tom Darrow, Kay Wright, Vicki Sharpe and Frankie Hill.
Her family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 and from 12 p.m. until her Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will include Blaine Snodgrass, Shane, Josh and Gabe Sharpe, Casey, Travis and Cody Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Darrow, Jimmy Sharpe, Craig Wright and members of the Northwood Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Northwood Baptist Church or Animal Rescue Corps at 1380 Monroe St. Northwest # 326, Washington, D.C. 20010-3452.
