Mrs. Betty Jo Edwards' Obituary
Betty Jo Edwards, age 90, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Bruce and Nellie McCutchen; Step father, George McCutchen; One brother, Edward Bruce; two sisters, June Talley and Mary Jane Forgey. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Edwards; three sons, Joseph Edwards (Esther), Michael Edwards, Patrick Edwards (Brenda); two sisters, Georgia Brown and Patricia Jenkins; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Betty enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers, cooking, watching tv and traveling each year to the smokies to spend time with her family. Betty will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Thursday, August 30th, 2018 from 1 PM until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gideons International. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
