Betty C. Graham, lovingly known as Memomma, MeMaw, and Grandma, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 79.
Born on June 24, 1946, in Rogersville, Tennessee. Betty made Nashville her lifelong home, where she raised her family and touched the lives of many through her work and generous spirit. She served faithfully as a Transportation Manager at Thomas Nelson Publishers for 35 years, where she was known for her dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic.
Betty was a vibrant woman—funny, feisty, and full of life. She had an outspoken nature and a giving heart that never hesitated to help those she loved. She enjoyed shopping, and cooking in her younger years. Attending Bible study, watching sports and was known as a thoughtful gift-giver. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her, and she leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, strength, and love.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Felica White (Mike); grandchildren, Tristin “Nikki” Grimes, Tori Grimes-Denney (Nicholas), Taylor White, and Alex White; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Dylan McAnally, Aubriona Lee, Aidyn Harris, and Jayce Harris. Betty was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Tina L. Grimes.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike South, Madison, TN 37216. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with burial immediately afterwards at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Betty’s love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family whom she loved better than candy, and all who knew her.
