Ms. Betty JoAnn Hughes' Obituary
Betty JoAnn Hughes, 85, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away August 13, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born January 30, 1938, in Athens, Alabama to the late James T. Crawford and Sarah Edith Lemay Crawford.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her son Tim Hughes and her dog Harry.
JoAnn is survived by her children Sandra Hughes, Brigitte (Paul) Scott and Michael (Janice) Hughes; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 10am-12pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12pm with Pastor Jacob Haywood from First Baptist Church Portland Tennessee officiating. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
