Betty Smithson Jenkins' Obituary
Betty Smithson Jenkins, 78, of Madison Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Born July 29, 1943, in Franklin, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Gerald Smithson and Vera Beasley Smithson.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. What brought her most joy was being in the company of friends and family. She was invested in any sporting event or activity that involved her family. But most importantly, she was a role model Christian to all, with one of the highlights of her week being service on Sunday.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Fondaw. She is survived by her children Greg (Helen) Jenkins, Leah Potts, Brad Jenkins, Camille (Jeff) Hall, and Jason (Sebrina) Jenkins; grandchildren Kennedy Potts, Raleigh Potts, Maxwell Potts, Bailey Jenkins, Benjamin Jenkins, Luke Hall, Emmery Hall, Sloan Jenkins, and Reid Jenkins. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at Madison Church of Christ on November 24th from 1-3pm.
