Betty was born on May 26, 1934 in Bowling Green KY to Ed and Essie Loafman. Betty graduated from Hume Fogg High School. She went to work for South Central Bell at age of 19 where she became a manager and later retired from AT&T. She attended Inglewood Church of the Nazarene. Betty enjoyed reading, gardening, and interior decorating.
Betty is preceded in death by her father Ed Loafman, mother Essie Loafman, brothers Chester Loafman, Harrison Loafman, Freeman Loafman, her sister Thelma (Loafman) Davis and is survived by a long list of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00PM on Saturday July 14th at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville.
