Mrs. Betty A. Tyree's Obituary
Betty Ann Tyree, 88, of Madison, Tennessee was born June 3, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee to James A. Weaver and Stella Proctor Weaver, and passed away April 13, 2018 at Alive Hospice.
She was a Nashville native, a graduate of Hume Fogg high school and a homemaker, as well as a lifelong member of the Nashville First Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles Bridges Tyree Sr.; two sons, Charles Bridges Tyree Jr. (Betty) of Ashland City, Tennessee and William Roy Tyree of Madison, Tennessee; one grandson, Mark Shane Tyree (Loretta) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two step grandchildren, John C. Walker of Hermitage, Tennessee, Misty Lacefield (Jonathan) of Marietta, Georgia; two great-grandchildren Samantha and Tyler Tyree; and two step great-grandchildren, Aidan and Abby Lacefield; and several nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation and remembrance with family and friends will be held from 2-5pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, April 14, 2018, and again one hour before a Celebration of Life service that will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville Tennessee.
