We knew Beulah very well as a member of Inglewood United Methodist Church in Nashville during the 1970s and early 80s. We will never forget her power to command a group just by raising her hand with her index finger pointed straight upwards, never saying a word until the group became quiet. This was one of her special gifts as a teacher. Our church group had many wonderful times at weekend retreats at Beersheba Springs Methodist campgrounds in Grundy county, TN, where Beulah was often in charge of the talent show program. She always exhibited her professional leadership in everything she did and she was so well loved and respected. She was a dear sweet lady and we will miss her very much. She was a professional in every sense of the word.
