Mr. Bill Webster's Obituary
Charles “Bill” W. Webster Jr., age 65, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on December 6, 1954 in Nashville, TN, the son of Charles and Betty (Hillin) Webster, both of whom preceded him in death.
Bill worked for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority for 30 years as a Supervisor in their shipping and receiving department before his retirement in 2019, where he enjoyed many great friendships. He had many passions in his life, which included riding motorcycles exploring the countryside with his wife Linda and good friends. He always looked forward to an annual fall trip with his buddies where they would ride for miles on end just for the experience. He especially loved riding his motorcycle with Linda in the mountains to Deal’s Gap and the Cherohala Skyway. During the past few years, he enjoyed tinkering with his model trains. He shared this hobby with several friends and traveled to many train shows just for fun. Bill had a unique passion for music. He appreciated most genres and had quite an eclectic taste. He lived his life with love and passion, and treasured his many friends and family. He continued to miss the family dog, Snuffy, his most trusted companion. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife Linda Webster, his children Daniel Webster and Kristen Demaree (Daniel), and his sister Patrice Lockhart. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 nieces, a nephew, an aunt and uncle, and a host of very special cousins.
