Billie Jean Bratcher's Obituary
Billie Jean Bratcher, 90, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson Bratcher, a daughter, Judy Gail Bratcher, parents, Katherine and Robert Bartlett, and a brother, Robert “Buddy” Bartlett.
She is survived by her five children, Glen Bratcher (Lynn Waller) and Glen’s previous spouse Jane Bratcher, Michael Bratcher (Terri), Janice Hamer (Paul), Shirley Goodman (Tim) and Andrew Bratcher (Nikki), thirteen grandchildren, Lauren Bratcher, Blake Bratcher, Zachary Bratcher, Landon Bratcher, Missy Glasscock, Skyler Bratcher, Nicolette Stickler, Travis Hamer, Courtnie Sparks, Caylan Goodman, T.J. Goodman, Katie Bratcher and Jakob Bratcher, twenty great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Gail Bartlett.
Billie Jean or Memaw, as she was affectionately known as, loved to dance, spend time with family as well as socialize. She could be found at the American Legion, Donelson Hermitage Senior Center or the aquatic center at the YMCA. Her fiery spirit made her the life of the party, always sporting a smile.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from eleven o’clock in morning until the time of the funeral service at two o’clock in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The committal service will immediately follow.
