Mr. Billy Ray Crane Sr.'s Obituary
Billy R. Crane, Sr., age 92, born in Belmont, MS, passed away July 14, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Billy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kay Crane and daughter, Delores Baker (Ray) of Nashville. He is preceded in death by his Son Billy R. Crane Jr. (Peggy); sister Faye Moore of Belmont, MS.
He has 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Billy retired after 37 years at TVA and also served in the Navy four years.
Billy will be remembered by his family as a man who loved the Lord and his church. He was always kind and helpful to his children and grandchildren and his wisdom will remain in the hearts of his family for generations to come.
Pallbearers will be Scottie Moore, Dalton Reb Hughes NFD, Kenneth Crane, Austin Crane, Jerry Moore and Johnny Moore. Billy was a member of Rivergate Retirement Group for several years and they will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4-8pm and again on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 10-11am at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Frank Gill, his long time friend from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home.
