Mr. Billy Moses' Obituary
Billy Randall Moses, age 85, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at The Skyline Medical Center – Alive Hospice Unit in Madison, TN. Bill was born on October 31, 1931 in Nashville, TN to T.W. and Lillie (Holt) Moses.
Mr. Moses served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. Bill received a honorable discharge in 1955. He then went on to work for Bell South and then retired after 40 years of service. In his spare time over those past 40 plus years he touched many live's coaching baseball, particularly Junior Knothole, as well as Little League. He was also known for his craftsmanship with woodworking and designing woodcrafts with his wife Linda. Bill was a previous elder with the Grace Avenue Church of Christ, and later went on with his wife to become members at Riverwood Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Randy Moses.
Mr. Moses is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Linda Moses; sons, Rick Moses and wife, Sandra, Devery Moses and wife, Kimberly; daughter, Melanie Moses; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rick Binkley officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 1:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2017 from 9:00AM until 11:00 AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Moses, Rich Moses, Jeremy Moses, Chris Moses, Josh Moses, Devery Moses, Jr., Rylan Moses, and Cadyn Moses.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of the Riverwood Church of Christ.
