Mr. Billy Young's Obituary
Mr. Billy Young 69, of Nashville, TN passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center, Madison Campus. He was born on May 25, 1946 in Mill Valley, CA. He was a Deacon at Dalewood Baptist Church, was an alumni of Isaac Litton class of 1964, and a retired postal employee. He loved playing with his grandchildren, was a loving father, and devoted husband for 51 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lillard and Beatrice, and his brother Byron.
He is survived by wife, Frances; two sons Gary (Deanna) and Jeff (Jenny); his brothers Robert, Steven, and John; and his grandchildren J.D., Hannah, Jessica, and Jordan.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers with Brother Paul Wampler officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Dalewood Baptist Church, St. Jude’s, or St. Thomas Transplant Services.
