Mrs. Birdie Kate Fussell's Obituary
Birdie Kate Fussell, age 82 of Nashville, TN passed away December 25, 2013. Mrs. Fussell was born August 21, 1931 in Robertson County, TN to Andrew Wallace Jones and the former Birdie Virginia Ann Head.
She loved being a mom and grandmother and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lester A. Fussell. She is survived by her son, Ricky (Becky) Fussell; daughters, Sandra (Troy) Stephens and Debra (Dennis) Jones; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Fussell’s life will be conducted at 10 A.M., Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor John Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville National Cemetery with Jeff Newman, Matt Jones, Caleb Pinkerton, Isaiah Thomas, Cory Balthrop and Keenan Allen serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until 8 PM on Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
