Blanche Alma Sharpe's Obituary
SHARPE, Blanche Alma GordonAge 81 of Old Hickory. Passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, April 11, 2009. The daughter of Cloyd and Lillian A. Gordon, Blanche was born in Mississippi and moved to Tennessee in her teens, where she lived for the rest of her life. She is survived by her husband and true love, David; two daughters, Kathy (Jeffery) Elam and Kerry (Steve) Cantrell; five grandchildren, Steve (Stacie) Elam, Sara Beaty, Robert Elam, Crystal (Kenny) Roberson and Nathan Cantrell; four great grandchildren, Becca and Brennan Beaty, Anna and Alex Roberson; her precious pets, "Sissy and Bubba." The family will receive friends from 5 til 9 p.m., Monday and again from 12 noon til 3 p.m., Tuesday at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Billy Akin officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association , P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or to the Nashville Cat Rescue, P.O.
