Mr. Bob L. Andrews' Obituary
Andrews, Bob L. Age 89 died March 14, 2020. Son of Grover Cleveland and Eula Petty Andrews. He retired as a Senior Vice-President of the former First American National Bank, now Regions Financial after 42 years. During his lifetime he served as an officer and trustee for numerous foundations, and other organizations including Vice Chair of Bethel College, President of Nashville Estate Planning Council, Founding Trustee of Nashville Chapter of F.C.A. and Davidson Academy and member of Board of Trust of Northwestern University’s Trust Banking School and President of his Graduating Class there. He served on many local civic organizations including the Civic Club, and PTA’s.
A member of the Naval Reserve for over two- and one-half years and the Air National Guard for over five years serving on active duty during the Korean War with the Air Force for 1 ½ years.
Survived by his wife Jacqulyn and preceded in death by Patricia in 1992. Other survivors include sons Dan (Jeryl) Andrews and David (Pam) Andrews, a step-son Al Collins, and step-daughters Susan (Jack) Scott and Lila O’Hara, grandchildren Chase Andrews, Matt (Emily)Andrews, Leigh (Scott) Talley, Gene (Cindy) Scott, John (Sara) Scott, Albert (Jennie) Collins, Ashley (Andrew) Huston, Brian Collins and numerous great grand-children. His brothers and sister predeceased him, Paul W. Andrews, Walter (Ray) Andrews, William C. Andrews and Gladys Geraldine Andrews.
Visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery. A Nashville landmark since 1785 "Where Nashville Comes to Remember"
