Bobby Joe Gammon's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Bobby Joe Gammon on October 23rd, 2023, in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Bobby was born on November 18th, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee to Joe Gammon and Marie Ines Staggs. He graduated from Hume-Fogg High School, and enlisted shortly afterwards in the Army, 82nd Airborne Division of 1966-1969. He was a quiet and reserved personality whose actions spoke louder than words. He was loved by many and leaves behind an incredibly legacy through the family he created with his beloved wife Katy.
In addition to his parents, Joe and Marie, he is preceded in death by his siblings Ilene Pena and Dean England. He is survived by his wife Mary Frances Katy Gammon; daughter Keri Bolling; stepson Greg Roberts; grandchildren Brittany Collier, Dustin Roberts, and Alyson Roberts; great-grandchildren Austin, Crew, and Evan; cousin Jean Meyers; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites friends and relatives for a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, from ten o’clock in the morning until the funeral ceremony at eleven o’clock in the morning at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. At the conclusion of the service, the staff and family will be driving in procession to lay Bobby to rest at Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville, Tennessee.
Final arrangements for Mr. Gammon are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
