Mr. Bobby Moody's Obituary
Bobby Earl Moody, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Bobby was born on August 12, 1932 in Union Point, Georgia to Smith Moody and Grace Lee (Norris) Moody.
Bobby served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed woodworking, photography and travel. He spent his spare time working with CB radios and he had his HAM radio license WA4PRN. He loved airplanes and flew solo at 13 and flew General Otto Paul Weyland during the Korean War. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Bellshire. He cherished greatly the life that he had been blessed with.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Ronald Edward Moody.
Bobby is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Clara (Simmons) Moody; daughter, Crystal Moody; grandchildren, Ronald E. Moody, Jr. and Amanda Vichich; special girl who he loved as a granddaughter, Dawn Sundown. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 12-2 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with military rites observed.
