Bobby Howard Moore's Obituary
Bobby Howard Moore, 90, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Fox Moore.
Mr. Moore is survived by his children, Terri Vick (David), Kelly Beaty and Bryan Moore (April), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three siblings, Colleen England (David), Sally Anderson and Jimmy Moore (Lisa).
He was an active member of the Madison Church of Christ for over 30 years and previously Neely’s Bend Church of Christ. He could always be found serving his community, whether it was with the Meals on Wheels program, tutoring at risk youth, or playing Santa Claus at local nursing homes. He retired from Dupont after 35 years. Mr. Moore coached baseball and played baseball and softball until he was 84 years old. He was often seen dancing at Long Hollow Jamboree. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Friday, December 22nd, 2023, from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be the following day on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, at two o’clock in the afternoon. The family will have two hours of visiting prior to the service. Russ Corley will preside over the service. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, at one o’clock in the afternoon also at Spring Hill Cemetery.
