Mr. Bobby Winfrey's Obituary
Bobby E. Winfrey, age 81, slipped into eternity on Monday, May 27, 2019 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He is now living in the promise of eternal life given to him by placing his faith in Jesus Christ. He is enjoying all that heaven has in store for him and we rejoice in his homegoing.
Bobby can be remembered as a man that had a strong work ethic. He enjoyed taking his family on vacations and always took a lot of pictures while they were gone. He was a Vanderbilt sports fan as well as the Atlanta Braves. He cherished the life that he had been blessed with. --
He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Linda Winfrey; parents, Hobert Franklin Winfrey, Sr. and Lucy (Brown) Winfrey.
Bobby is survived by his son, Scotty Winfrey (Jackie) and daughter, Kristi Kraus; grandchildren, Kasey Pratt, Asher Winfrey, Japheth Winfrey and Bobby Scott Howard; great-grandchild, Knox Pratt; brother, Hobert Franklin Winfrey, Jr. (Brenda); sisters, Forrestine Snyder (David), Judy Nalls and B.J. Oliver (Charles). He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Baugh officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home with an additional visitation from 12-2 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Bobby Scott Howard, Asher Winfrey, Japheth Winfrey, Adam Pratt, Troy Snyder, Chase Snyder, Charles Oliver, Don Robertson and Kaine Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Goodlettsville Church of Christ in honor of Bobby.
