Brandi Lynn Parra's Obituary
A Joyful Salute to Brandi Lynn Parra
December 23rd, 1974 – March 14th, 2026
We celebrate the beautiful life of Brandi Lynn Parra, born in Nashville. From the first day, she brought warmth, quick wit, and an open heart to every space she entered.
Brandi’s days were brightened by animals of every kind, whether she was visiting a petting zoo, walking through a farm, or casting a line while fishing. She found calm in her garden, joy in outdoor adventures, and a bit of fun in an afternoon of shopping.
Holidays were Brandi’s favorite canvas for love. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter came alive with her famous holy cow cake, perfectly roasted turkey, and the Sunday spread of fried chicken with mashed potatoes that drew family together week after week.
She shone as a devoted wife of 28 years (together for 36 years) to Roberto Parra, a caring mother, and a wonderful caregiver who truly never met a stranger. Friends and family knew her as funny, loving, straight forward and diligent—always ready with a joke and always ready to stand up for what mattered.
Brandi’s legacy continues through her sons Martin Blake (Ashley) Wilson, Tanner (Nikki) Parra, Emilio Parra, Alejandro Parra and dog, Mikey; and her grandchildren Aubree Wilson, Braylen Wilson, Alyson Wilson, Blakeley Wilson, Luca Parra, Riley Parra, and Brynn Parra; siblings, Cammie Martin, Juanita Gail McClanahan, Reba Holmes; uncle, Wayne Martin; brother-in-law Rolando Parra. She is reunited with her parents Roy Gene Wilson and Alice Wanda Wilson, and her brother Roy Wilson.
We honor Brandi by sharing a laugh, caring for others, and welcoming new friends just as she always did. Her cheerful spirit and giving heart remain vivid reminders of a life well-lived and forever cherished.
