Mrs. Brenda Hamrick Eidson's Obituary
Brenda Hamrick Eidson, age 72 of Madison passed away June 9, 2013. Mrs. Eidson was born on September 15, 1940 to the late Allen Bonds and Edythe Logan Hamrick in Double Springs, AL. She was baptized in 1954 in Russellville, AL and taught bible classes in her younger years. Mrs. Eidson graduated from Isaac Litton High School in 1958; was a member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ and also attended Hendersonville and Northside Churches of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Carl E. Eidson, Sr., and sisters, Gloria Hamrick O’dell and Janice Hamrick Farr. She is survived by her children, Carl E. Eidson, Jr. (Jennie Lou) and Carole Eidson Barnes (Jeff); grandchildren, Carl E. “Cal” Eidson, III, Tucker Barnes, Macy Barnes, Jackson Barnes, Tyler Barnes and Mitch Barnes (Heather); her brother, Kenneth Hamrick (Diane) also survives. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 13th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Baugh officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Family will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, June 12th from 4-8 P.M. and Thursday from 12 P.M. until service time. Memorial Contributions may be made in the name of Carl and Brenda Eidson to Goodpasture Christian School Scholarship Fund, 619 Due West Ave., Madison, TN 37115.
