Ms. Brenda Hood's Obituary
Brenda Kaye Hood, 62, a resident of Nashville died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at McKendree Village. The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Hoyte L. and Beaulah L. Kimbro Hood. She was a 1969 graduate of East High School and a 1973 graduate of MTSU. She was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Education and was a member of the Riverside Church of Christ. She enjoyed Opera, reading, plays, and was a volunteer for the symphony. She is survived by three aunts, Claudia Dick, Betty Nesbitt, and Eunice Jackson; an uncle Richard Kimbro; several cousins; and her devoted cat, Bustopher. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM at historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
