Ms. Brenda Fay Mobley's Obituary
Brenda Fay (Watson Weyer) Mobley, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 after a brave battle with cancer. Brenda was born to parents Edmund and Ida Mae (Posey) Watson on January 13, 1953 in Murfreesboro, TN. She was a loving mother, aunt, nana, mother-in-law, sister, friend, “mom 2” to her kids’ friends, and human mom to many rescued animals.
Brenda was an animal lover at heart and never passed one in need without stopping. She always tried to make responsible, ethical, and caring choices that took into account human and animal welfare and the environment.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Denise Weyer (Glenn McCombs) and her son Brandon Weyer (Shana Allen). She is also survived by grandchildren Jaycek, Kheeli, and Khiler, sister Vivian Bailor (Cliff), niece Brittany Ewin (Alex), great nieces Alexa-Rose, Braelyn-Tay, and soon-to-be Cailey Cierra, nephew Jeremy Mobley, “adopted sister” Barbara Bayless, “adopted daughter” Sharon (Bayless) Mavrakis, and a houseful of grateful rescued pets.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 4-8pm and services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2pm with visitation beginning at 12 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
