Brittie Craighead McMillon,age 85, of Nashville passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015. She is preceded in death by husband, James (Captain Mac). Brittie is survived by her children, Linda McMillon, Judy Brown (Ron), Theresea Nixon (Trever), Melissa Carter (Joe), Terry McMillon; sister, Judy Hinkle; grandchildren, Erica Yarbrough (Martin), Stacey Sorenson (Devin), Kelly Leverette (Robert); great-grandchildren, Christopher Wedgeworth, Cody Winford, Austin Luke, Dalton Leverette, and Dylan Leverette; and fifth generation, great great-grandson, Dexter Wedgeworth.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wed. Sept. 16th and from 9-11 a.m. Thurs. Sept. 17th at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
