Brooksie Nell Knighton Wolfe's Obituary
WOLFE, Brooksie Nell Knight,of Hendersonville, TN went to be with the Lord Jesus November 11, 2009. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Samuel M. Wolfe Jr. She is survived by her children Alva Wolfe, Marguerite Wolfe and Sam Wolfe; her grandchildren Mackenzie Wolfe, Isaac Wolfe and Riley Wolfe; her sister Jo (Bill) Hardison; and nieces and nephews. Brooksie loved studying the Word and taught many Bible classes for 50 years, retiring her last class in 2005. She also authored a book on knowing God. She was a beloved member of the Madison community since early childhood. Active pallbearers are Sam Wolfe, Mackenzie Wolfe, Riley Wolfe, Samuel Stewart, Rick Wynn, Jerry Thompson, Glenn Law and Delmas Brake. Honorary pallbearers are Isaac Wolfe, Jo and Bill Hardison, Lynne and Jim Collins, Mildred Hunt, Elizabeth and Gilbert Pope, Virginia and O.J. Cline, and Billye and Harold Fleming. Funeral Ceremonies will be on Saturday November 14, 2009 at 1PM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne Tyus officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, November 13, from 4p to 8pm and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will follow services at St. Luke's Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 901 West Old Hickory Blvd, Madison, Tennessee.
