When I heard the sad news last week, the image of Buddy that came to my mind from our time at Stratford in the 60s was just like the photo of him on this memorial page, except for the color of the hair and the facial hair. The twinkle in his eyes and the smile that said I am happy to be here and happy that you are too haven't changed. I can't say that Buddy and I were close friends. But you can't walk the same hallways, share classes and cafeteria food for years and not get a pretty good sense of each other. I can tell from the comments on this page that Buddy continued to smile and be happy and to make others happy too. What a gift for those who were blessed with his presence. My thoughts are with his family and friends. -- Henry Martin
