Mr. Byron Scott Ferguson's Obituary
Mr. Byron Scott Ferguson, age 57 of Woodlawn, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on August 14, 1964 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Ferguson Sr and brother Alfred Ferguson Jr. He is survived by his wife Sandra Ferguson, mother Virginia Sparks, daughters Kris Corderio (Keith), Heather Ferguson, and Michelle Ferguson, sister Mary Kay Pickles, brother Terry Davenport (Jean), grandchildren Kira Corderio and Amelia Corderio, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Byron was a loving and happy person who made friends easily. He was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, and eventually settled down in Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1982 until his Honorable Discharge in 1986. During his time in the Air Force he earned the Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards Ribbon, and the Air Force Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He loved his Firebird, and was a huge Michigan Wolverines Football fan. He also had an affinity for Garfield, and loved his own cats dearly.
Mr. Ferguson will be laid to rest in Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida with full military honors.
