Carl W. Eli's Obituary
Carl W. Eli, 92, of Bridgeport, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lula and William Eli, two sons, Michael and Kent Eli, a grandson, Blake Houston and all his siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Nina Allison Eli, a daughter, Luanne A. Mayo and her husband Michael, a son, Jason Eli and his wife Samantha and a daughter-in-law, Laurie Eli, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mr. Eli proudly served in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from a management positions with Browning-Ferris Industries (BFI) and was a member of the Stevenson Church of Christ in Stevenson Alabama. He was known for his kindness, generosity, great mechanic abilities and loving his family.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, November 16 at 1:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216.
