DUNCAN, Carl L. age 85, passed away September 14, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Eva Duncan; sister Louise Duncan Hankins; brother Chalmer Duncan, grandsons Jacob Spears and Daniel Spears. Survived by his devoted wife of 41 years Jean Duncan; daughters and son-in-law Elizabeth Duncan Spears, Linda and Joe Roberts; grandchildren Savanah Elizabeth Spears, Micah Katheryn Spears, William Duncan Spears, James and Sydney Rupley, Leslie and John Dabrowiak, Jody Roberts; great-grandchildren, John Lars and Joseph Ames Dabrowiak; brother and sister-in-law Hubert and Lorene Duncan. Carl was a loving, caring man that always placed his family first. He was a Lumber Broker for many years and a member and past Deacon of Madison Church of Christ. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, September 17, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at the Madison Church of Christ Church in the Bixler Chapel with Dr. C. Bruce White officiating. Entombment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joe Roberts, James Rupley, John Dabrowiak, Tommy Goddard, Chris Conder, and John McCollum. Honorary pallbearers will be Col. Jack Hayes, James "Gabby" Hayes, Thomas Goddard, Woody Harris, and the Elders and Deacons of the Madison Church of Christ. Visitation with the family will be Sunday 12:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Monday 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Madison Church of Christ.
