So many memories of our years at First Assembly in Silver Spring Maryland. We were there during the years of ministry with Pastor Arnold Brown and his family . Carl’s steadfast faith was constant and his commitment to God and his church community was evident in his actions and words. May the faithfulness of God be present in abundance at this time. Doug and Daneille Clarke, Frederick MD
As a teenage visitor to First Assembly, Silver Springs, Maryland, Carl was the first person I met. He was instrumental in introducing me to Sunday School and other activities. This became the church where I both worshipped and served until I relocated as an adult. As a teenager and young adult, I appreciated the faithfulness, consistency, and example Carl demonstrated. No one could mistake his love and commitment to the Lord. Also, who can forget the graduation banquet that made the achievement even more special. Thank you for serving, Thank you for caring, and Thank you for loving others no matter. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jenell.

I remember Carl’s joyful smile and welcoming hug the most. Carl and Janell stepped in as God-Grandparents for the dedication of both of our children since Daddy was giving the “dedication charge”. Thank you, Carl for blessing my family from the very first moment you met each of us. Janell, sending you hugs and joy knowing we will see Carl again in heaven. 💛Jaime,Kaylyn, Jacob and Kaycee
Jenell, I have such fond memories of Carl when my Dad and Mom Ministered at First Assembly in Silver Spring, MD. His kind, thoughtful, genuine sweet spirit was such an inspiration. His dedication to the Lord, you, and the church, is what we all should look to as an example on how to live a Godly life. I appreciated the friendship that you and Carl have had over the years with my parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our loss, but heavens gain.
