Carlene Oliver Booth's Obituary
Carlene Oliver Booth, 90, resident of Heartland Christian Towers in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. She was preceded in death by, a daughter, Connie Jones, parents, Louella Oliver and Elwood Oliver and nine siblings.
She is survived by six children, Cathey Carlene Leaver, Fran Hooten, Peggy Jenkins (Steve), Frank Jones (Teresa), Rose Kennedy (John) and Mike James (Ruth), 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a brother Pete Oliver.
Carlene was a member of Donelson Church of Christ for many years. She found her joy in her family, from spending time with them to visiting with the newest baby. Each family member was the most special when she was with them often visiting everyone she could as often as she could. She loved to color, doing puzzles, word searches and an avid reader.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit and share stories on Friday, March 15th, 2024, from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 16th, 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning with an hour of visiting prior to the service. The committal service will immediately follow.
