Carlene Bradford's Obituary
BRADFORD, CARLENE DUFFEL; Age 85, passed away in Mesa, AZ on January 17, 2011. She is preceded in death by husband, Robert I. Bradford, Jr., brother, Ewing Duffel and nephew, Rod Duffel. Survived by son, Robert I. Bradford, III (Janet), grandchildren Adelar and Ava Bradford, sister-in-law, Geri Duffel, nephew, Gary Duffel (Sharon), brother-in-law Dr. William M. Bradford (Lydia), nephew, Dr. Thomas D. Bradford (Gina), and niece, Mary Susan Bradford. Carlene graduated from Hume-Fogg High School in Nashville and worked at Nashville Bridge Company when she met Irl Bradford. They married in 1949 and were in love for 58 years until his death in August of 2007. Carlene was actively involved in The Women's Club of Nashville and Cumberland Heights. She loved traveling, cooking, friends and laughing. Funeral services will be held at Saturday, January 22nd at 11am at Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 who treated Carlene with love and respect in her final days. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 21st from 4 - 7pm at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Rd., Nashville, TN 37216.
