Mrs. Carlene Edwards' Obituary
Carlene Edwards, age 84 of Nashville passed away August 25, 2013. Mrs. Edwards was born in Nashville on July 9, 1929 to the late James Claborn Pewitt and Mattie Stinson Pewitt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John C. “Jack” Edwards and son, Jackie Clay Edwards. Survivors include her son, Rocky (Pam) Edwards; grandchildren, Christopher Edwards and Michael E. Edwards; great-grandchildren, Kamara Olivas and Michael C. Edwards; great-great grandchild, Adysen Olivas and brothers, Eugene (Faye) Pewitt and Larry Pewitt. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 28th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. James Humphreys officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, August 27th from 1-8 P.M.
