Mrs. Carol Phelan Saunders' Obituary
Mrs. Carol Phelan Saunders, age 90 of Nashville, TN. passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Benjamin (J. B.) Saunders; daughter, Janice Sullivan and her grandson, Joel Andrew McGee. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda (Clarence) McGee and her son, Joel (Brenda) Saunders; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many cousins also survive. Her family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27 and from 9 a.m. until her Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
