Ms. Carolyn Happy's Obituary
Carolyn Happy, age 70 of Nunnelly, TN passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. She was born May 24, 1944 in Nashville to the late James and Ruby (Runnells) Jarrell. Besides her parents, Carolyn is also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela S. Young; brother, Butch Jarrell; and grandson, Joshua Copeland.
She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church and Howard High School Alumni Association. The family remembers her as a loving lady who enjoyed watching soap operas but especially the Young and the Restless. Carolyn also loved reading and camping with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Happy; children, Leander J. Copeland II, Karen L. Copeland, Dana Carroll (Pete), Sonya Drake (Galen), Webbie Rainey, Dodie Sheler and Ricky Thomas; siblings, Faye Hawks (Bobby), James Jarrell (Margaret), Jean Perry (Ray), Buddy Jarrell (Alma), Sissy Walls (Sam) and Betty Brewer (Billy); grandchildren, Renee Copeland, John Copeland and Bodee Young; great-grandchildren, Chelsei, Alexis, Josilyn, Ryan, Mya and Johnetta Copeland; great great-granddaughter, Aubrei Copeland; brothers and sisters in law, Barbara Jarrell, Bob Happy (Barbara), Wanda Clark (Joe), Gary Happy (Ellen) and Kevin Happy (Rebecca); Loving friends, Dan and Pat Jenkins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery 615-865-1101.
