Carolyn T. Stewart's Obituary
Carolyn T. Stewart, 89, passed away on Thursday, January 15 2026. She was born to the late Walter & Bertie Atwood Turner on December 12th, 1936.
Mrs. Stewart faithfully attended Beacon Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe T. Stewart; three brothers, Ray Turner, W.L. Turner, and James Turner; one sister, Mary Etta Nixon.
Those left to cherish their Mother & Nana’s memory are her children, Deborah Wilson (Mike), and Steve Stewart (Cheri); five grandchildren, Kelli Wilson, Candace Wilson, Alyssa Roe (Will Parker), Amy Miller (Ben), Graylin Stewart (Priscilla); 11 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Will, Kayla, Madison, Preston, Mason, Welles, Thatcher, Maeve, Benny, & Lottie; one great-great-grandchild, Koda.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of Carolyn's life.
