Carrye was one of a kind, and she was the perfect example of a Proverbs 31 woman. She was Godly, gentle, kind, patient, slow to anger, hardworking, and was a woman of amazingly high integrity. She had a great sense of humor and didn’t take herself too seriously. She loved trying new things and was as adventurous as they come. She always stayed very active and loved the outdoors, travel, and crafting. She loved making things for people, as she had a very generous spirit. She would make quilts for her loved ones and she even made blankets, quilts, and “Care Bears” for babies and children in local hospitals. Carrye lived every day of her 97 years full of joy, and it was certainly a life well lived.
If you are one of the many loved ones for whom Carrye made something, the Etheridge family requests that you bring it to display at the funeral home for the visitation period.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 5-7pm and again on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2-3pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 3pm on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Spring Hill Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final care of Mrs. Etheridge. 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37216. (615) 865-1101. “Where Nashville Comes To Remember.”
