Catherine Ann Canfield's Obituary
CANFIELD,
Catherine Ann Canfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2024. She was born to Jesse and Frances Houchin in Nashville, TN. Growing up in Nashville she graduated from Whites Creek High School. Her joy in life was family. She loved being surrounded by family as they vacationed on the beaches of Alabama and Florida where she would spend days watching the grandchildren play on the beach. She was always most comfortable being at home with family or at church where she was an active member of Inglewood Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother, Jesse James Houchin, Josie Graham, Linda McEwen, Johnny Houchin, Glen Houchin. She is survived by her long-time companion, Billy Kirby, loving children, Cody Canfield, Stephanie Canfield; bonus-children, Ryan and Kristina Kirby; cherished siblings, William “Bubba” Houchin, Joseph Houchin and husband Renee, Roger Houchin and wife Pamela, Mary Canfield and husband Danny, Shirley Morse; beloved grandchildren, Miles Canfield, Camden Kirby, Jasmine Canfield, Zayden Kirby, Brayden Kirby; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and guest two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery.
