Catherine Mundy Casteel's Obituary
CASTEEL, Catherine Mundy, age 81 of Nashville passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2013. Mrs. Casteel was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a good Christian woman who enjoyed life and laughter with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carsie and Georgia Mundy; husband, Bill Casteel; son, Randy Casteel; brothers Dick Mundy, Red Mundy, and Grady Mundy. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Bob) Mecke; sister, Camilla Durham; daughter-in-law, Diane Casteel , and many loving nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and on Saturday, April 6 from 12 p.m. until her of Celebration of Life Service at Jackson Park Church of Christ at 1 p.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jim Olive and Heath Pickard. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers; Craig Mundy, Chris Mundy, Dwight Mundy, Charly Lyons, Charles Robert Lyons,and close family friend Mike Roland. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Jackson Park Church of Christ. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
