Cathey Choate Deal, age 66, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Cathey was born on February 28, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Walter Lee Choate, Sr and Polly Comperry Choate.
In addition to her parents, Cathey was preceded in death by sisters Lucy Ware, Gloria “Dolly” Young; brothers Jim “Johnny Mack” Choate, Walter Lee Choate Jr, Curtis Eugene Choate and Steven Choate.
She is survived by her sons, Sam (Stacy Arendall) Patterson and Jimmy Patterson; daughter Rachel Miranda Deal; grandchildren Ashley Patterson, Sam Patterson Jr, Chevy Patterson, James Patterson, Summer Arendall, Polly Arendall, Alexus Arendall, Acadia Patterson, Cassie Patterson, Kody Clark, Haley Clark, Hannah Deal, Lucky Arendall, Carmen Gillihan, Sophia Gillihan, Cayden Arendall and Zak Arendall; great-grandchild Jakiyah Lyons; and a host of family and friends.
