Mr. Charles Bayer's Obituary
Mr. Charles Bayer, 80, of Nashville, TN passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 27, 1935 in Rochester, NY. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. He was an avid golfer and he loved to garden. He was a faithful member of St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Madison, TN.
He is survived by wife, Cynthia; son, Edward; sister, Barbara Mahoney; grandchildren, Heather, Jeremiah, Anna, Terry Allen, Taylor Allen and Adrian Allen; great-grandchildren, Vincent Allen and Maddex David along with various nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph & Margaret Bayer; son, Scott; daughter, Sandra Allen; brothers, Joe, Glenn and Jack; sister, Patricia Olcott.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers with Dr. Dewayne Tyus officiating. The family has requested memorial contributions to be sent to St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Madison, TN. (901 W Old Hickory Blvd, Madison, TN 37115 (615) 868-1982)
