Mr. Charles Lee Burt Sr.'s Obituary
Age 82, passed away at home surrounded by family on November 30, 2017.
Preceded in death by parents, Ernest Lee and Maude Belle DeMoss Burt.
Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Myrtle Ann Burt; son, Charles Lee (Dawn) Burt, Jr; daughters, Jackie (Charles) Adcock and Teresa (Michael) Sisco; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie (Bobby) Hamilton, Chuck (Erin) Adcock, Danielle (David) Bentley; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Burt retired from Roadway Express after 30+ years, was a Shriner, a mason with Masonic Lodge #254, and loved his family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Earl Langley and Pastor Vernon Martin officiating.
Visitation for friends and family will begin Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 1-8 pm, and Monday from 10 am until service time.
A masonic service will be held before the service begins on Monday.
Interment will follow the service on Monday at Spring Hill Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Clarence Schult and Lowell Hill.
